I was born and raised in Wales, UK and from an early age I enjoyed all arts and crafts. My Mum taught me to knit and sew and I took every opportunity to study art in school. I moved to the USA in 1982 and spent my time raising my two children. Arts and crafts continued to be an important part of my life. It was during this time that I started acrylic painting, then oils and created numerous art pieces simply for my own enjoyment. After leaving a successful business career and moving to North Carolina in 2019, I was able to truly focus on my passion. In recent years I’ve spent a lot of time learning and enjoying watercolor painting and soft pastels. When I discovered my passion in the uniqueness of colored pencils I finally decided to share my art with those who’d appreciate it.

I hope my art brings as much joy to those who acquire it, as it does for me when I create it.
